Eberhard Schnebel is teaching "Ethics in Finance" and "Ethics in Management" at Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main. Since 2016 he is developing "Digital Excellence Ethics" to integrate action related ethical structures and communication into design processes of digitization. He is member of the Executive Committee of the European Business Ethics Network (EBEN).

Currently he is working in Group Risk Management at Commerzbank AG to establish ethics as tool for increasing efficiency and responsibility in management. Previously he worked in the strategy department of Hypo Real Estate International Bank AG. He holds two doctoral degrees, one in Philosophy and one in Theology, both of Ludwig-Maximilian-University, Munich.
